In this list, the American business magazine awards young people who will shape the future. The Dutch score mainly in the categories 'social entrepreneurship', 'Retail & E-commerce' and 'Manufacturing & Industry'.  Flanders is mainly represented in the category ‘Science & Healthcare’.

Rijksmuseum shows 22 paintings, 60 drawings and more than 300 prints of Rembrandt

Rijksmuseum marks the 350th anniversary of Rembrandt’s death in 2019 with Year of Rembrandt. The year-long celebration opens on 15 February with All the Rembrandts, in which the Rijksmuseum will present for the first time an exhibition of all 22 paintings, 60 drawings and more than 300 best examples of Rembrandt’s prints in its collection.

Rijksmuseum exhibition traces rise of amateur photography in the Netherlands

The Rijksmuseum’s photography curator Mattie Boom has for the last few years been studying hundreds of photographs for her doctoral research on the rise of amateur photography in the Netherlands. The results of her work will be on display in the Rijksmuseum from 15 February 2019 in Everyone a Photographer (Iedereen fotografeert), an exhibition of more than 130 photographs, photograph albums and cameras that will take us back in time to the end of the 19th century.

After about 10 years, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium have reopened the permanent wing with Dutch Masters. At the same time there are two exhibitions, called Dutch Spring, that focus on the master-painters of the Golden Age.
